Term 2

 Happy Holidays Readers!

So the Term 2 holidays are about to come so I gonna Tell you guys what I did In term 2 

             Kupe

So in term 2 we learned about Kupe. Kupe was the first man to stand on NZ. Here's A short Story About Him. Kupe was catching fish while this giant octopus was eating all of it.Kupe told the octopuses owner and they got in a fight. So kupe said he will kill the octopus.On their way they saw a island So that was when he first stepped  on NZ. In the end they killed the octopus successfully. I like The Story Do You?

So Everyone says there is 7 sisters but their is actually 9, Pohutukawa And Hiwa-Te-Rangi! 

             Fractions

Fractions is our term Focus. Fractions are these things that help us divide things equally. They can help divide cake,pizza,Chocolate and more!!!!There are a lot of fraction types like

• Proper  Fractions ½

• Improper Fractions 12/9

• Simplified Fractions 9/3 = ⅓

• Equivalent Fractions 9/12 =¾

• Mixed fractions 2  1/3
